The Hypnosis Script - What You Ought to Know
The hypnosis script. You may have read one before. Many people are intrigued by hypnosis scripts, treating them as though they are gospel truth. As if reciting the pages word for word will induce power and ultimate mind control. However, a hypnosis script shouldn’t be held in that regard; they are guides to well-being and nothing more.
The Hypnosis Script - A Passage to Better Living
Many hypnosis experts regularly develop scripts as part of their ongoing practice in their field.
Basically, a hypnosis script is a formula that contains all the things a hypnotist has to say to a client in order to produce a certain effect in that person’s life. That may sound too straightforward as if a script is enough to induce genuine hypnosis. That’s not what we’re saying. The idea is not to simply recite scripts (merely reading them won’t work) but to use them as guidelines in effecting true hypnosis.
For example, you may encounter a hypnosis script that deals with weight loss. It may begin with the actual words spoken to induce trust within a person until all that person can hear and focus on is the hypnotist’s voice. It may then go on to describe how that person will deal with weight loss, his attitude towards food, as well as the practical steps he must take to eliminate unhealthy eating habits. The script may clearly reference visualization techniques the client will have to practice in order to conquer his weight problems.
All of this may last a page or two, spelled out in complete terms, almost as if you the reader were the actual hypnotist.
But as we mentioned, a hypnosis script is more of a guide in what to say and how to approach a client than a water-tight formula in inducing hypnosis. It takes mastery and experience with hypnosis to truly achieve positive results. Simply reading a script will not bring about mind-control and effective change.
The Hypnosis Script - Using It Correctly
The right thing to do, if you’re a beginner hypnotist, is to study a hypnosis script and try to recognize the approach, the patterns of speech, and the language used. Once you can identify how a hypnosis script is structured, you will have a better chance of mastering the technique, finding your own voice and developing your own _scripts._
This is important because hypnosis is about control over a person’s thoughts. A client will be opening themselves to your suggestions and it’s crucial that you be feeding them honest propositions that come from an experienced mind and heart _ and not a prefabricated script that lacks your personal touch.
